On May 14th, Argyle Public Relationships was awarded the 2017 Gold-level Canadian Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year ACE Award from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS), Toronto Chapter. This award recognizes the work done on behalf of ICEX/The Spanish Embassy to promote Spanish persiMon in select markets in Canada during its short selling season. By capitalizing on positive consumer and influencer impressions of Spanish culture and cuisine and developing strong, simple branding that made the fruit the ‘hero’, the program effectively combatted lack of familiarity and confusion about persimmons, driving retailer promotion and consumer awareness, engagement and trial.
The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) is an organization of men and women who practice public relations in Canada and abroad. Members work to maintain the highest standards and to share a uniquely Canadian experience in public relations. Every year, the CPRS Toronto Chapter recognizes communications excellence through its ACE Awards Gala, featuring top-tier campaigns from organizations and agencies across the Greater Toronto Area.
