The list of winners for the upcoming edition of the ICEX Training Program in Spanish Gastronomy has been released, ending speculation about which young international chefs will gain entrance into the 2015 edition of this scholarship program.
This year’s program, the 8th of its kind, will take place from June 8th to November 6th, 2015. A total of twelve chefs from nine different countries, including Canada, will have the opportunity to learn about Spanish gastronomy, language and culture, at the hand of some of Spain´s top chefs. The program starts with a six-week training period at the International School of Culinary Arts Fernando Peréz in Valladolid.
We are very happy to announce that a scholarship has been granted to Rebekka Shmitt from the Canadian Food & Wine Institute at Niagara College. She will have the opportunity to participate in this exciting Program and learn about the versatility and quality of Spanish products.
