It´s a great week to stay in Vancouver if you love wine as much as we do… From Monday 24th February to Sunday 2nd March, if you attend the Vancouver International Wine Festival, you will be able to taste some of the finest wines from around the world. Over 1750 wines from 178 different wineries will gather in one place to the delight of wine aficionados in Western Canada.
Since 1979, the Vancouver International Wine Festival has become one of the biggest wine and food events in Canada. In its 36th edition, the theme country is France but there will also be 14 other countries present in the showroom, including 10 wineries from Spain! The Global Focus this year is Sparkling wine.
During this week, a lot of interesting activities will be held: winery dinners, minglers, grazing events, seminars, etc. Please make sure you check out the website (http://www.vanwinefest.ca/).
